faith is believing that what's unthinkable, what's previously impossible is really possible.

so that's what it is. apart from all the word's religious attachments, we need faith pala. i need faith to be, do, have anything. the references i've pointed to in the past may not have supported me. the perfect reference is one's faith. one's absolute belief.

lovely.

some metaphors

i'm both city and beach.
how do you reconcile both?
the city is lovely. bright lights. everything matters. fast paced. forward. with pauses of light and time in the middle. moving.
the beach is drifty. slow. still-moving,sometimes. cool and warm where nothing matters, dreamy, melancholic wild fun.
now, i dream of the warm sun. but how i want to enjoy the cool air now 'cause i know i'd miss it.

--

it's your smile, your face, your lips that i miss. your sweet little eyes that stare at me and make me say, i'm with you through all the way. 'cause it's you, who fills the emptiness in me. it changes everything you see when i know i got you with me.

"i think now that being free is not being powerful or rich or well regarded or without obligations but being able to love. To love someone else enough to forget about yourself even for one moment is to be free. The mystics and the churchmen talk about throwing off this body and its desires, being no longer a slave to the flesh. They say that though the flesh we are set free. That our desire for another will lift us out of ourselves more cleanly than anything divine. Our longing for freedom is our longing for love. If we had the courage to love we would not so value these acts of war.

"we fear passion and laugh at too much love and those who love too much. And still we long to feel.

"That's what i miss about the fields, the sense of the future as well as the present. That one day what you plant will spring up unexpectedly; a shoot, a tree, just when you were looking the other way, thinking about something else. I like to know that life will outlive me..."

"life is infinite." "life is short."
our life is short but life itself is infinite.

just do it.
don't over analyze. don't over think.
some would want to complicate their lives. yes.

yes, i'm guilty of that, at times.
thoughts massage.
words soothe and caress my soul.
action expresses it.

but still action is the only ultimate expression of oneself. your life is your art, your creation.

eclipse

Let's make an eclipse.
Cover me with yourself.
Caress your curves on mine.
Don't stop now.
It has only begun.

Morning is the time we meet.
Night is what we make,
Bringing chills to those
So used to the warmth
of our separation.

a study on elusiveness

what happens when you bring two elusive beings together?
is it even possible?
who would leave? who's left behind?

you can never tie them down, only set free, until they decide to rest upon your porch.
boys and girls try to cup them with their hands. they merely enjoy your warmth and fly away after a while.

but maybe, just maybe, their elusiveness is merely an illusion - a play, a magic trick to keep you atune and amused inspite of their blankness.

or maybe just another maybe, it's an illusion of this illusion that cover up this storehouse of playful richness yet to be uncovered - if there even such a thing in them. a treasure for you to find after crossing the smokescreens?

will they ever let you in?
to whom will they open the doors?

peeps. peeping toms and peeping janes. curious cats. all of them have had their chance. pay per view. sometimes free. but only for show. no touch. hands free.

where do they feel it then?

who holds their hands? will they let you see their open palms?

color color. what color is befitting them?
red red. olive green. ahrange sunset SJ orange.

whiff of powder smell on the plum cheeks. how 'bout strawberry lollipop lips and tongue? is it even possible to consider it an innocent joy with them?

smile.
