i need to improve my thinking. i know i need to be good with people, dealing with them, etc. but also it's necessary for me to have a more productive mindset in terms of relationship skills.

More than just being nice so others will like me or will like to work with me. it must be with the mindset of interdependence. We need each other. We need to work together. Nothing meaningful can be done alone. More would be done if we work together. Interdependence is independent individuals relying on each other with an understanding that we essentially need each other to function well independently. Moreover, with the mindset of becoming better for others' benefit.

While taking note that we're in the sifting business, it's important to remember that we still need other people to succeed and they should want us to succeed. It's not about being needy it's accepting that we need others and making them become part of our lives as well. Don't be too insecure.

i feel i've lost my passion for anything and everything. well i guess it's only because i know i must be doing something but i don't. i can't even write well anymore or express myself through words.

when i reread my posts two years ago, i miss my old self. the inquisitiveness, the curious life. but maybe it's just that way retrospectively, i'm not sure.

i like the way i was really delighted in trying new things, going places. i hope i don't stay jaded for long.

i miss my college friends, from mfi like pat, erika, henny, to comarts, inna, keithleen, li. mfi friends i still see them once in a while but comarts friends, it must be a year or two since we last communicated! it's sad though, but i guess that's part of life. people move on. we move on. meet new friends, etc.

i want the rainy days. it's befitting my emotional state.

When the secretary of Gandhi was asked how come ghandi can speak in front of essentially hostile crowd to a rousing standing ovation without notes, this is what she answered:

"What Gandhi thinks, what he feels, what he says, and what he does are all the same. He does not need notes.... You and I, we think one thing, feel another, say a third, and do a fourth, so we need notes and files to keep track."

i want what i think, feel, say and do to be congruent.

Is the tension inside just a part of growing up until you decide on everything? or is it a essential for continuing growth until death?
