Power packed weekend with friends
it was fabulous.
It started with an evening at dencio's with High School classmates. The surprise despidida for Elijah began. Met with them and had loads of fun getting to know how they are, what they've been up to and just updated myself. I felt no pressure to promote myself or what not. I was proud of what i did and openly shared it to them. Ganun pala if you just focus on expressing than impressing.
We arrived around 8 and left Dencio's ng 1030pm na. We were carried away by pictorials and made the resto a studio hahaha. Maybe because i finally updated my wardrobe than my usual look. You may check my multiply for pictures. (well, my friend's multiply: tim, elijah, andrew)
After all our other left and only the barkada were together, we stopped over at Mini-Stop Q. Avenue, Sykes building and bought some chichiria and ice cream!! We even pleaded our plea to each other on which chichiria to buy. I want Kornets, Kes want Toaquitos and Cheez It and PeeWee -is that how it's spelled? hehe - Joyce wants Crackling Salt and Vinegar. Sorry Green Peas, Boy Bawang, we need only a few.
We continued to Andrew's New Manila townhouse that's for sale. Ang ganda ng place and we were all inquiring why they were selling it. Elijah was seriously asking, "Bakit hindi natin bilhin?" Of course, the funds' the limitation (as of now, haha).
We ate our ice cream, while some started on Karaoke. The songs were all funny. No recent ones though so we had to content ourselves with old love songs and oldies unknown to us except Lawrence - Me and Mrs. Mrs. Jones. Hahaha
It was really funny. Singing, dancing, we had our favorites. Mine was Madonna's characterization of Evita Peron singing "Don't Cry for me Argentina." I was Evita Peroni. Joyce's was "I Swear" GReat fun great fun - check out tim's multiply for videos.
Slept at the uber cold room upstairs!!! Waaah. We didn't even have blankets....only a single piece of sarong covering Louise and me.
This was the start of our adventure power pack Sunday.
we had planned to do things Elijah wouldnt do. We had breakfast at Aristocrat, picture picture sa Roxas Boulevard. We were supposed to ride a jeep to Luneta but it was extremely hot and Elijah reckoned that it would be unsafe to ride public transpo with his SLR around. oh elijah. hahha
But it was really hot! So we continued to Intramuros in our cars however we thought it really not sensible to walk around the Walled City at 11am on a summer morning!! So we changed plans and continued to National Museum where we made it our second studio!!! I love it. I saw the Spolarium again!! hahaha Funny thinking about it now, we were contemplating a really long time ago of going to National Museum as a barkada but just because we thought to ourselves that others wouldn't like to, we didn't pursue it.
Finally we're there! We had an adventure. It was like Afternoon at the Museum .
There were rooms that were not yet done and it was a nice place to shoot. Climbed stairs, elevators. You must really go there at least once!! I was even tempted to take away the door handles which were copper casted metal as "N" and "M" by National Artist Napoleon Abueva!!!!!!!!!
After our pictorial, we brought out the Coke Light and Royale we bought the night before from the sun-baked cars. We were very thirsting. Thankfully, they were not boiled but still lukewarm so we drank 'em.
We drove to Binondo and had lunch at Sincerity!! Uber yummy fried chicken!!!! Had a fabulous massage at Beijing Lei Li beside Golden Fortune. hahahha We thought it was just a foot massage but it was full body pala. The highlight for me was the gel anti-bacterial feet dip and the hot rocks on the back. It was an interesting surprise. SObrang relaxing!!
Then off to Intramuros again!! Saya!! Some of us had to "face our fears" crossing the crevices in betweeen walls. hahaha fun fun. picture picture sa mga old hidden places. Then...
Had to part ways from them as i Andrew hatids me Emerald Garden as i meet my family. I was an only child for the past four days 'cause my other sibling went to HK. (Saya mag-isa sa bed) hehe. They went on to catch sunset in MOA and dinner afterwards.
haay. as of now, i haven't checked the pictures yet but i'm extremely excited!!!! weeeeeh
